# Dawamee

> Dawamee by Digital Pages is an attendance and team workspace app: check-in and check-out, timed breaks, time off, chat, voice and video calls, scheduled meetings, company news and daily standups. Version 2.15.0 is published for Android in English and Arabic, with Light and Dark appearance. iPhone and desktop apps are not published yet.

On first launch the app offers three workspaces: Cloud Members (a company hosted by Digital Pages), Self hosted (a company's own Dawamee server and database) and Local Personal (a private record on the device). A workspace can be changed later in Settings; each keeps its own records.

Company workspaces (Cloud Members and Self hosted) require an active employee or trainee record, an explicit company invitation, the invited email and a one-time code. Attendance and leave requests synchronize with the company's payroll service. Internet access is required; installing the app does not create company membership. Company workspaces add direct and group chat with replies, reactions, pins, files and voice messages; one-to-one and group voice and video calls; scheduled video meetings with up to 15 invited colleagues; company news with reactions and polls; daily standups; and, for managers, a live team view, request approvals and standup notes. Company chat messages are encrypted in storage; authorised company administrators can review and export them, and that access is logged. Calls are not recorded.

Local Personal (Personal mode) needs no account, invitation or internet connection and makes no API requests. Attendance, breaks, GPS stamps, notes and leave records are encrypted on the Android device. Personal leave is Recorded or Cancelled, without management approval. Personal attendance, breaks, leave and daily standups can be exported as CSV, preserving Arabic text, through Android's file picker.

Both modes request a fresh location after confirmation and require precise-location permission and enabled GPS. If a fresh fix fails, a usable latest-known real location is accepted with its original time and accuracy and an explicit LAST_KNOWN source. When a usable prior fix exists, fresh acquisition gets a half-second grace period before fallback; without one it can wait up to twelve seconds. This is the location wait, not a promise about total action time. No location is fabricated when none is available. Company actions additionally require verified hardware-backed Android app keys and signed, replay-protected requests. Unsupported or unlocked devices and software-only emulators cannot submit Company actions. Personal mode does not use this verification. There is no continuous or background tracking. Optional biometric locking uses Android authentication.

Personal mode has no cloud sync or online backup. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local records. An unavailable encryption key causes an error; the app does not automatically erase encrypted records. CSV files already exported are outside the app's encrypted storage and remain under the user's control.

The official pages provide the Android APK. No iPhone or iPad release, desktop installer or public App Store/Google Play listing URL is presented here; the home page marks the iPhone, Windows, macOS and Linux apps as coming. The site publishes no prices: Personal use is free, and companies ask about Cloud or Self hosted by email. Website screenshots are real captures of the app with fictional people such as John Doe.

For Company invitations, employment records or correction requests, contact the employer's HR or payroll administrator. To bring Dawamee to a team, or for technical questions, Personal CSV problems, privacy or Company deletion requests, contact app@digital-pages.dev. Digital Pages cannot recover local Personal records or encryption keys from a server. The public pages below explain support and deletion.

Dawamee deletion requests: the bilingual Delete my data page verifies email using a separate expiring one-time code. Confirmation closes access and revokes all sessions, then queues Company records for employer deletion or a documented retention decision. It does not erase separate payroll records, on-device Personal records or exported files.
